His fiery responses didn’t stop there; on social media, the Brazilian posted a tweet that read: 

“What madness! There is only one Madrid. We all know this. Let’s play better next time.”

In a later post, Vinicius shared an image of the Champions League trophy, alongside a pointed question:

“How do you feel?” This was a clear reference to Atletico’s repeated failures in the prestigious tournament.

Vinicius vs Atletico: A Battle Beyond the Pitch

Vinicius’ clash with Atletico fans continued to make waves as the match day unfolded.

After seeing a banner in the stands declaring, “This year, yes” referring to Atletico’s hopes of winning the Champions League, Vinicius wasted no time in responding.

“This year, no,” he retorted, effectively putting to bed any hopes that the Rojiblancos would lift the coveted trophy.
