Zlatan Ibrahimovic Heavily Criticized in Italy

Zlatan’s New Role at AC Milan Under Fire

AC Milan has been struggling under his guidance

The team was eliminated by Feyenoord in the Champions League play-off round

Since retiring from football, Zlatan Ibrahimovic (43) has taken on a crucial leadership role at AC Milan.

Officially, he serves as an advisor to the American company that owns the club.

However, his influence extends beyond that, from motivating players to scouting potential transfers.

Ariedo Braida’s Harsh Criticism of Zlatan Ibrahimovic

Zlatan’s leadership has come under intense scrutiny, with former AC Milan director Ariedo Braida (78) delivering a scathing assessment.

Braida, who served as the club’s sporting director from 1986 to 2002 and later as executive director until 2013, believes Milan lacks a true leader and that Ibrahimovic is not the right man for the job.

“Players are responsible, but it’s difficult to succeed at a club with no identity. What Milan lacks is a strong leader, someone like Berlusconi.

The decision to sack Paolo Maldini was a huge mistake, and the way they treated him was unacceptable.

Maldini was a legend who did his job well and represented the club to the best of his ability. I

brahimovic is not a reference point, nor a strong leader. He lacks the skills and experience to run a team. He is just a communicator,” Braida stated, as quoted by Foot Mercato.

Can Zlatan Prove His Critics Wrong?

With AC Milan struggling both in Serie A and Europe, the pressure on Ibrahimovic is mounting.

Fans and former club figures are questioning his ability to steer the club in the right direction.

Will Zlatan rise to the challenge and prove his doubters wrong, or will Milan continue to decline under his influence?

The coming months will be decisive for both him and the club’s future.
